Many revere him as the best maker currently. His flutes are particularly well-liked by the players from the Kenshukan community. This is one of his higher range flutes, very beautiful, with goma texture and many bamboo colorations in the surface. It behaves beautifully, perhaps even flawlessly. The tuning, response and intonation are fabulous. It's an instrument one can perceive as a 'friend on stage' because is easy to play through the octaves well into the upper dai-kan range, and reliably voices in demanding music. Korokoro is beautiful. Tonally rich, with great and accessible focus on all notes. In as-new condition.
